Fylde Coast Canine Hydrotherapy benefits from having both a large, in ground, hydrotherapy pool and a water treadmill allowing us to offer the most suitable form of hydrotherapy treamtent for your pets. We also offer Physiotherapy clinics with our ACPAT registered chartered physiotherapist to ensure a comprehensive rehabilitation programme can be offered for all our patients.
We are a friendly, caring team who specialise in the rehabilitation of dogs recovering from injury, operation or suffering from an ongoing condition. We have a genuine passion for what we do and are dedicated to the wellbeing and safety of each dog we treat. Our team of knowledgeable and experienced therapists have worked within the industry for many years and all our hydrotherapists are registered with NARCH (National Association of Registered Canine Hydrotherapists) ensuring we meet high industry standards and complete a minimum of 20 hours CPD per year.
Inspired by Rio
Rio was just 6 months old when he was diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia. He struggled to even walk. Following veterinary advise we took him swimming and after just a few hydrotherapy sessions his muscle tone had improved dramatically, he was much happier and could run around with the other dogs.
Leanne, a life long animal lover decided to open up a facility which would be beneficial to the local area and other animal lovers with dogs with similar problems. After seeing how hydrotherapy had changed Rio’s life, she trained to be a fully qualified canine hydrotherapist.
