Leanne Fletcher RCH 

Registered Canine Hydrotherapist,

ONCLR Level 4 Award in Canine Hydrotherapy and Level 3 Certificate & Diploma in Hydrotherapy for Small Animals

After her own dog Rio was diagnosed with severe Hip Dysplasia in 2013 Leanne took a keen interest in alternative complementary therapies and trained to achieve both her Level 3 Certificate and Level 3 Diploma in Hydrotherapy for Small Animals before opening Fylde Coast Hydrotherapy in 2014. Leanne has since completed Advanced Water Treadmill training upon adding a Water Treadmill to the centre in 2015 to allow her to offer more comprehensive treatment programmes. She has since also completed the latest qualification in hydrotherapy the OCNLR Level 4 award in 2019. Leanne is extremely passionate about canine rehabilitation and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Fylde Coast Hydrotherapy.

Leanne and her family have always had dogs in their lives and currently share their home with 8 crazy Cocker Spaniels and 2 gorgeous Golden Retrievers. Her love for animals doesn’t stop at dogs as she also has a hamster, chinchilla, 5 guinea pigs, cockatiel and a very special love for her marine fish!

 

Charlotte Wright RCH 

Registered Canine Hydrotherapist 

Level 3 Certificate in Hydrotherapy for Small Animals

 

Charlotte is a fully qualified hydrotherapist and member of the National Association of Registered Canine Hydrotherapists (NARCH). She gained her qualification in 2015 at Greyfriars, a leading veterinary practice within the UK for veterinary referrals and rehabilitation. 

Charlotte has a always had a keen interest in the animal industry, with a vast experience working in boarding kennels, animal collections, veterinary practices and wildlife rehabilitation centres. Charlotte has demonstrated a consistent passion for the hydrotherapy industry, sharing her enthusiasm and knowledge whilst working as a lecturer in the animal studies team at Myerscough College.

Charlotte joined the Fylde Coast Hydrotherapy team in 2020, contributing to the expertise and passion that is consistently seen throughout the team.  

Charlotte has grown up and owned animals her whole life and in her spare time you will often find her surrounded by the numerous farm animals she has at home including pigs, cattle and sheep, as well as her two rescue dogs and cats.

Donna Griffiths   MSc, PG Cert, BSc (Hons), MCSP, HCPC, ACPAT A

Chartered Physiotherapist, ACPAT 

Donna qualified with a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy in 1996 from the University of Hertfordshire. With local veterinary surgeons she continued to explore the role of working with animals while developing her skills. She completed a City and Guilds Level II in Canine Studies in 2000 and upgraded to full category (A) member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy (ACPAT) in 2003 after completing further courses and training within ACPAT.

Donna has worked with local Veterinary surgeons and specialist referral centres for the last 18 years, specialising in physiotherapy for small animals, particularly dogs, and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the rehab team at Fylde Coast Canine Hydrotherapy. 

Donna has also had papers published within the animal sector and continues to support research and development. In her spare time you will usually find Donna at various sporting activities with her two children or enjoying nice walks with her two dogs. 

Laura Talbot RCH

Registered Canine Hydrotherapist

Level 3 Diploma in Small Animal Hydrotherapy 

Laura is a fully qualified Small Animal Hydrotherapist and member of the National Association of Registered Canine Hydrotherapists (NARCH). After her own dog Barney ruptured his cruciate Laura took a keen interest in hydrotherapy and the benefits it could have aiding with his recovery. It was then that she undertook her OCN Level 3 Diploma in Small Animal Hydrotherapy gaining her qualification in 2021.
 
Laura had always been animal obsessed and began her career studying for her Extended Diploma in Animal Management at Myerscough College before studying Agricultural Livestock Science at the University of Nottingham. Laura has a wealth of experience across the agriculture industry whilst working as a Livestock Specialist in Beef, Lamb and Dairy for a leading retailer.
 
In her spare time Laura loves being in her wellies exploring the countryside with Barney her golden retriever and her family.
