Hydrotherapy treatment
At your first appointment we will start by asking questions about your dog to ensure (along with their clinical history) we have all the information we need to choose the best form of treatment for your dog.
Your dog will be weighed and a general health check given by our Canine Hydrotherapist. We will also do a gait assessment, take muscle measurements and do any other necessary checks/assessment.
From this, an individual treatment plan will be made to suit your dogs requirements. We will decide whether we feel the pool or treadmill will be more beneficial to achieve the required results and will gently introduce your dog to either the pool or the treadmill.
Accurate records will be kept for each session so that we can continually assess your dogs’ progress.
Following treatment your dog will be showered and dried.
