Fylde Coast Canine Hydrotherapy are also an approved OCN London training centre for students wanting to become qualified in Canine Hydrotherapy.
Current courses available: OCNLR Level 3 Certificate in Canine Hydrotherapy
This course includes 10 practical training and assessment days with us at the centre meaning all students get plenty of practical training and experience with our patients. The qualification will provide learners with the skills and knowledge required to work as canine hydrotherapists.
Our training team consists of Registered Canine Hydrotherapists, Veterinary Physiotherapists and a Registered Vet Nurse who all have extensive experience in both the veterinary and rehabilitation industry and in education.
The course comprises of 9 mandatory units:
- Canine Hydrotherapy Theory
- First Aid for Canine Hydrotherapy
- Observed Practice for Canine Hydrotherapy
- Anatomy, Physiology and Biomechanics for Canine Hydrotherapy
- Orthopaedic Conditions for Canine Hydrotherapy
- Neurological Conditions for Canine Hydrotherapy
- Water Management for Hydrotherapy Pools and Water Treadmills
- Working Ethically and Professionally as a Canine Hydrotherapist
- Personal and Professional Development for Canine Hydrotherapists
Courses are run periodically throughout the year, our next
